AWS is incredibly powerful, but also notoriously complex.

As a web developer, you can't avoid the inevitability of The Cloud. Today, organizations big and small are building on AWS and that trend continues to accelerate.

But, learning AWS can be… a lot. If you've tried, you know just how overwhelming it can be. Or, maybe you've stayed away completely based on warnings from the ANGRY ORANGE SITE. I get it. With an ever-growing list of more than 200 services, it's easy to get lost in the AWS Console and give up.

The truth is, you don't need to learn hundreds of individual services to build more capable web applications. You may not even need to learn 10 of them.

I'm here to help.

The key to navigating the vastness of AWS is in narrowing your focus. You need a guide.

I've spent the last 8 years building on AWS, and in that time I've learned a ton of lessons the hard way—lessons that you won't have to work through alone. I've also had the pleasure of teaching dozens of teams and hundreds of individuals with varying degrees of cloud experience through paid training sessions.

AWS for Web Developers is an interactive course that will teach you everything you need to know to build more powerful web applications and greatly expand your tool belt. While self-paced, this isn't a one-way video course. You'll be building alongside me in an AWS account provided to you with no fear of a nightmare bill.

We're going to learn lots of practical patterns and tactics, but, more importantly, we'll learn to reason about when the tradeoffs of a given solution are worth it. And when they aren't.

Adding AWS to your tool belt will change your career.

AWS services are the building blocks of the web. While there are plenty of cases where you or your team might choose to build on top of a third-party service—Vercel, Heroku, and the like—at the end of the day, those services are built on top of AWS.

By adding AWS to your growing list of skills, you'll open yourself up to entirely different career opportunities and I can't wait to help usher in your next chapter.
